The tinhat community is really turning on it self. Posting and reposting, regurgitating etc. bwood was right about the same topics on every conspiracy website. I don't consider what I am seeing as research at all. Much of the info may even be planted by TPTB. Disinfo, misinfo, and absolute fantasy really get pushed around as fact lately. Rumors are ok, but why state them as truth? Research. Does no one check sources? Does no one fact check? There are a ton of serious issues happening in our 3d reality, which get buried on any site that will accept posts. Learn from example maybe? Take a look at what jsnip posts.

that is all.

Thats why I'm here, to find out whats really going on. There are so many issues facing us today, we really need to find out which ones are true. Only then can we truly prepare for whats coming (or whats not). About a month ago is the first time I've heard of this Elenin. I have to admit it kinda scared me. I'm glad that 12gaugeangel is taking a logical approach and doing the reasearch and pointing out the disinfo.
Kudos 12gaugeangel!!!
thanks 12guage
I do believe that people can research many of what they are posting. I also have a problem with posts with just Youtube videos. To me there has to be proof to back up the video. Otherwise it could be just bunk being thrown around. Many of the posts in here are YT, I am actually getting tired of YT. I also have found a few things lately that I found disturbing including one news post that came from a mans blog, and they are saying its truth. Yet there is no evidence proving the man to be right. Why would the MSM show bunk as being a news story? Trash if you azsk me, yet the real stuff is never put in the MSM.

ohoh7 - Your last thread was telling people to watch the movie 2012 and look for signs from hollywood. So maybe you should check yourself before you start criticizing others.
Oh wait there are no facts to what I posted? Seems strange because it is backed by facts. In fact lets see it speaks of the economy going downhill, This has happened since the movie came out. It speaks of uprisings, This is happening right now. It also speaks of the dollar collapsing, shall I say more. But oh, yeah its happening already. Ah, let me guess facts to you are lies?

By the way lying gets you no place, Because I never told people to watch the movie. I asked people whom had watched it before. If they had seen the signs that were suppose to come, were the same things that were happening now. So please get your facts straight instead of telling a bold lie.

"Right on the money"? If you know where the ships are you should tell us so we have a chance to survive... or should we just call John Cusack if the SHTF?
12gauge does indeed make a good point (from a moderator's standpoint). However , there is much information out there ... some bullshit , some not so much and very rarely those which are on spot. Many members post information ,to which they feel, they must share. Differences in opinions are fine. Again I say ,go with what resonates with you. When props or degradations do arise in response to a post...so what...to me it makes things very interesting . When reality shapes itself accordingly to one's opinion , thereby proving or disproving posted information...one gets to say "I told you so !!"

Anyways guys , having some supposedly know-it-all @$$holes on the forum can be a good thing as the above can be applied to them over and over.
maybe there should be a thread or archive with a bunch of news stories that have been proven to be true, with facts and sources to back them up. kind of like a snopes.com within realistnews.net
It doesn't matter where you stand on this, the man made a forum that doesn't censor people and lets anyone join, empty rhetoric is unavoidable...duh. You have to filter through it and deal with it, or change the rules. Think of it as "the socialist network" vs. "imaginationland". This is what happens.
let me clarify that when I said "the socialist network" vs. "imaginationland", I mean that those are your only two options for something like this. Telling people to respect themselves after like a dozen people have told Abe to stop putting bible quotes after their posts isn't gonna do you any good. It's unfortunate, but it's true.
I am not sure as to why its not in sections yet as to what is fact, and can be proven compared to new stuff coming in where there is no proof as of yet. But something we can look into and then post what we find proving or disproving.

Fair statement. Agreed on your perspective, I am more mentioning that there a lots of reposts and reposts of debunked crap... but this is entirely a free-will site. do whatever you like, just feel like there is some damage that is done to a community with repeated rumor propagation. I try to prove the opinions I make and generally keep them to myself until I feel they are valid. The exception is when I want others in put. Again, thats just me and NOT the rule of the forum.

Excellent Idea. It could add a sense of accomplishment to the research. Sometimes its hard work and no one notices. You want to start it?

True. the rules to this forum are no rules for users/posts. I was just offering advice based on what I have seen. Credibility is waning. Also, if you just jump between this site and glp or ats, seems pointless. Again... Personal view, not really a moderator view. Its Joe's site.

Listen: Just voiced my view on the matter. If this is forum is a microcosm of the real world, then the real world is 50% repeated crap. In which case, we've improved on nothing. So why research and try to wake people up? For a group that thinks they know so much I would expect a little pride.

BTW: This is just a snapshot note. Not my everlasting view. Just as the 30th person says a comet is not a comet, I can post what I see. I see lack of credibility, and I asked some to at least consider this point. Take it or leave it... up to you. I do genuinely want this group to be better than glp and ats... just sayin.

Final point. I don't advocate only debunking. I advocate pushing real truth and proving your theory right rather than telling people to prove it wrong. I have posted theories here that someone could try to debunk. I have also posted things which people have said are bunk, which I then look further into... I have admitted when my theories are wrong. Anyway, people freak out when they start to wake up and I just remember what its like to feel like that. Its not fun. Anyway, a simple search of the board before posting would keep this forum smarter than the others. Lots of regular users here, its just a courtesy to your neighbors. Last time: this is my personal view and NOT a request from the site.

of course, this is why I've pleaded with abe and others to post replies of a "certain view" in a "certain place" I agree with you, but what can we do without imposing rules?
Let's dont despair because of disinformation agents. Truth and lie have very distintive flavors, and rather soon you develop what I call the "psychic nose". Their body language, their ad hominem tendency, show them away. They harm, but they dont destroy. Human mind perceives much more than words, facts and images, and one day, awakens. They pieces of ***** cannot stop the proccess.

In a decentralized world you voice your opinion to your peers and people vote with their actions. That's all I intended. Call it an experiment.
A good thought just occurred to me though, and I may give this a shot. Jsnip still continues to post videos about topics, where he himself speaks to people. I think this helps his credibility a lot more than if it were all just text. So if you have a serious topic that you want to relay, why not do the same thing and post the video here? I'm willing to put my face with my words if it helps to detach any bullshit aspect of what I'm preaching, so to speak. I know not everyone wants their face on the internet, but lets take the really right wing voices on here, imagine them on video, as opposed to a person presenting actual fact. I think that if regular posters that have good info started doing that, it would be a lot easier to weed through some of the nonsense. You certainly don't see much of that kind of threading on sites like GLP. You can also remove the public view on youtube and still show the video here. It's just an idea, I may give it a try. Just try not to be distracted by how good looking I am, it's the info that counts :)
My initial reaction was, great idea and maybe I will join you. Immediately followed by: I like being anonymous.
I understand that, however, video isn't a requirement to let your voice be heard a), and b) if these so called "powers that be" want you, they don't need to see you, they can grab your ip address in an instant. In fact, the more people that start speaking out unanonymously, the safer we become, I will most likely begin my first video by letting people know that I am in no way shape or form suicidal, or a threat to society in any way. I think it's more of putting our own touch on a video or article, rather than repeating other info. I would definitely start paying closer attention to original material from regular posters here as opposed to guests or people that just rant religion, etc.

Not everyone is lucky to have the time or able to do research, personally cause of my self-employment I've been able to spend up to 16+hrs./Day on various topics but if you happen to be one of those folks... please refrain from posting/regurgitating what you happen to come across on your Youtube tour or whatever place you get your info from.

...also, I think/feel that those of us who have done research on the topics SHOULD USE THE RATINGS system, it is basically our way of letting others know how we feel about a certain threads/topics...I realize this may be hard to do at times especially if you like the poster, but regardless it's by all of US who have done the research and VOTING TOGETHER to bring forward the most important topics...noticed how I said most important topics, there's a lot of good topics but I'm just not sure if this is the right place for some of them however it's free to post anything so let's ALL use the voting system as it was meant to be used.
