I know many people here will already be aware of his website, so this is not a heads up thread, was more a "i´ve read it and it makes a lot of sense" kinda thread?

he seems to lay out a plausible causal link between events we have been seeing and the failure of modern geological thought being able to explain it.

Certainly the most thought provoking article and very clearly laid out I have read from him in a long time.

So thought I´d ask, if you read it, waddya think?

Is Clif on to something here, or just another theory for us to chew on, to add to our doom portfolio?

M
I'm going to put that into my doom whicker basket at this point in time.
great read!

I am a believer in the expanding earth theory (i even said it once a few days ago: http://www.realistnews.net/Thread-northe...19#pid1919 ) it makes a lot of sense. the rapid expansion is not something I had considered, but the plasma theory is very interesting indeed.

also interesting is this bit about space tornadoes. reminds me of the huge spiral things over europe and asia.
Quote:The Expando Planet model has at its core (pun intended) the plasma core which can become very chaotic, and is expected to produce huge 'toroidal imbalances' which will result in a bunch of 'magnetic field anomalies' that will resemble 'magnetic tornadoes'. These will reach out into deep space and will funnel down not only huge levels of highly charged particles, but also, vast quantities of very very very cold cold from space.

heres a video showing the historic expansion in reverse:
Wow. I am in awe of his intelligence. Rings true to me. So this significantly changes the game plan. Is it possible for each human to generate a large enough magnetic field to counter solar radiation? Thus creating our own personal magnetospere? Is the amount of energy always proportionate to mass? Is this what the ancients trying to explain? If it is possible could this be the "flower of life" field they are referring to? I swear I don't wear a tin foil hat; just posing a question.
whys? they are fashionable.
I too sign up to expanding earth theory and am aware of the videos but cheers for posting them for others to see, I got very excited when Clif picked up on it last year and now to splice this together with Geryls theories does, to coin the phrase, "ring true" with me.

The space vortex idea for transference for sudden cold is fascinating for me too, and the rapid expansion arguement does seem to provide an elegant explanation for the unusal geological events....

The section on predictable events and suggestions for mapping earthquake activities for spotting such trends is something I am looking into.

Eitherway, we know doom is coming, just, now we know how and why maybe? Does adjust my bug out plans a little and I always felt that Geryls suggestion of 2km up just was not achievable, so now escape plans can be on lower ground as my instinct told me, although as expected transportation is goin got be hard....hmmm

M
Cliff is just trying to scar you.
according to the article, 90% of people will perish from these events. while it seems like a good idea to begin to prepare for these devastating events, how do you prepare for 2600 feet waves?

waves that high will wipe out most people and I'm not sure an underground bunker is going to do you any good. How will you get out of that bunker if there are several miles of water above you?
waves crash and retreat. technically, waves crash once the water below is half the height of the wave structure. large waves could come far inland, but not the first waves. so in that sense, how long the huge waves last is almost a more important factor to those who do not live near the coast.

12 guage, i live in chicago and the only major body of water near me is lake michigan. it seems to me that 2600 feet waves would certainly come inland and wipe out the entire east coast. the question is, how far inland?
I'm also wondering if the great lakes will also create some devastating problems of their own.

Havent you read the paragraph about New Madrid? it is an obvious crinkle down in the "skin" of the Earth.
Yes, the sea can make it to the Great Lakes. Missisipi and Louisiana at any rate probably gone.
Who would have thought that 2010thecountdown, do you know this guy in Youtube, would be vindicated by the great Cliff High: he had a video showing starting cracks in roads and bridges.

Edit: sorry, rereading here I think I answered this lightly. In case you are still around, there are 3 questions:
- does water from the east can reach Chicago: answer in this model I think is no: the Apalaches stop it.
- does water from the south can reach Chicago: only if heavy opening crack of New Madrid helps, thats possible but a matter of speculation
- can the waters of lake Michigan cause "sloshing" also: that is a good question, I wonder, I suppose smaller bodies of water than oceans can cause some but comparatively much less

so Chigago is not very badly positioned; at any rate you 've got higher ground nearby going in the direction of Rockford.
Take this only as amateur speculation from people folloiwng the work of a highly speculative man.
I have spent almost all night analyzing the article.

I have to say is boring and inconsequential.

:P

My my. Doesnt this belong in "important threads"?
I have so much to say I dont know where to start. Please lets talk this inside out. I suppose there will be general call in Webbotforum but I feel here more at home.

This is not an "article", really maybe a crowning intellectual achievement for Cliff before he sets off in his ship. There was something wrong, you could feel it since almost the start of all this, and now his brilliant brain gnawed out the answer.

Well the case for the Expando Theory is rather demolishing. Why not the Hollow Earth Theory, with the inner Sun and Shambalah? :) Whatever. Too many pieces falling into place too nicely.
Here a synopsis of the events, leaving out the case for Expando Theory, for those so lazy that wont even read this but watch 3-6 hours TV a day, on average, and for reference:

- instant freezing of large areas (magnetic anomalies funnel down cold from space)

- freaky new weather patterns

- sea currents changes

- cracks open up in many lands (probable example, New Madrid)

- large, damaging sinkholes, mainly between the tropics

- solar burst as per Geryl increase matter creation inside, leading to pressure, leading to dams, railways and all manner of infrastructure damage with serious consequences

- sometime from Oct-2011 to May-2012, but more probably 11 October, heavy solar storm directs particules to South pole leading to polar flip, with following scenario:

* for a few days magnetosphere charge is zero meaning deadly radiation causes direct or indirect fatal burns
* magnetic disruption with known consequences
* mental problems in unburnt people, wackiness
* destruction of crops
* mass global animal die off at all levels
* electrical grid down, with fatal consequences such as possibly on nuclear reactors
* air travelling disrupted or discontinued due to rosted crews and passengers, with attached consequences

- severe increase in earthquakes globally, of a shallow very damaging quality, often 7.0+ even several times a day in same location, with attached consequences on nuclear reactors, biochemical weapons storages, fuel ports, pipelines, etc.

- severe increase of volcanos

- torrential rain everywhere

- likely nearly finish us off, some 90% bipedals loss

- however not dreaded continental-crossing tidal wave of up to 2000 m high, but instead waves of up to 800 m high of limited continental penetration, and not so bad particularly on the Western coasts, where however there will be strong winds, rain and localized tsunamis

I wonder if anyone interested in a group of spiritual support in this forum, I am serious.
it reminds me of the first time I got water up my nose, swimming, as a kid.
It took that one and only experience to learn never to feel that again.
Can anyone explain these phrases for me? I am not 100% sure I understand correctly:

"Further paranoia flares up thinking about the trillions of dollars put into underground shelters by government for the elite. That does not bode welll. If the expansion ***** hits the fan, the elites will find themselves as "spam in a can". This gives new meaning to the old French peasant retort, of "one day, we will all eat the rich" ".

Never heard "spam in a can", I am not anglo. Meaning buried alive? But that was the same with iron core theory right?
I wanted to say that, checking heights, population concentrations, and Eastern coasts, it becomes clear that there might be heavy mortality sloshing-related in the following:

- China (she doesnt make it to superpower after all)
- Argentina
- USA East Coast (sorry Jsnip)
(edit)
- Japan
- India
- Indonesia

Some countries emerge (well "emerge", damn it) better than previously thought, example, Russia, protected by a few mountain rigdes in the far East, and the vias for penetration in the East are few so that would be more like peaceful flooding.

Some countries, such as Spain, do very well, with little low ground and well protected coasts, either by relatively short expanse of sea, or orientation. Enclosed countries dont have a sloshing problem of course, but then are the other factors.

Many thoughts on strategies for those who think of making it. Comm'on people. We dont know how long we have a means of communication.

Could not agree more, that is how I feel about this article. I´m based in spain and got a great deal of comfort from the prospects of survival after considering the events chewed over in the article.

My considerations for survival in general are revolving around these key considerations:

Isolated community with food production and storage
Non electric transmission car
Access to and knowledge of sub terranian caves or mines
Private water supply

I have two of the four, without the car access to the isolated community could be hard work, I know of caves and mines near my location, but not enough knowledge of its stability and depth. I think the deep storgae of food and soil is vital.

Solar panels equipment would not survive magnetic storms or soalr activity increase I assume.
Anyone know of comfortabel depth to assure chances of survivng solar radiation.

I know, October this year seems very short in time to be honest. I dont approach this as gospel truth (if you excuse the loaded metaphore) but preperation for something that has an intuitive ring to it as a theory cannot be a bad thing.

"Spam in a can"
They cook or get squashed in their underground layers?

Arthur, the reason I posted it was to hopefully have a talk out on the thread....it struck me as doom super theory, it seems to tie in everything together and even if not true, surely being prepared for all that could come about would mena we were prepared for anything else?

Plus, knowledge truly is power. if you can explain to people why thing sare happening and then be able to warn of what will come to pass, you will generate the seeds of a strong community around you. Either way, I am certainly reconsidering my timetable for kissing citylife goodbye.

M
(Sorry, deleted it, badly thought out, I need to do research) :)
Yes, Maverick, I am shooting every "ask a scientist" service for something like:

lets suppose magnetosphere charge is zero and everything comes in unimpeded, what kind of burns should be expected and what kind of protection there is, is enough staying indoors with shutters closed or more is needed?
but takes a few days

I suppose this basic strategy for the few days of flip must be solved before anything else; see if we come up with something concrete

maytagday

If the earth was that small, wouldn't the moon have become the planet and the earth rotating around the moon? Or does the moon also have a plasma core? But if the moon has a plasma core, wouldn't it also be producing water and other minerials, volcanos, earthquakes etc.. ?
This gives me reason to question the expanding earth theory.
