In case you haven't seen it yet, it miraculously still lives on youtube, even though the view count has been dropped down twice since it was first uploaded. watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w

agreed, he's the reason I became a designer.
My wife and I just watech part 3 last night. I love all 3 of the Zeitgeist movies but I have to say, it just reassured me that our entire society/paradigm is at it's peak and heading off a cliff. The Mayans are right and there will be a "cleansing of the earth an a renewal period afterwards". Greed is ruling and it's too late to do anything about it that will bring any real change. I'm convinced we have to let it implode and pick up the pieces afterwards which is why I have been preparing since 2007 and why I offer my advise on youtube etc.

Like Ian Lungold (Mayan calendar guy) said. "All you Bush haters, don't get mad about him and the other people at the top. They are simply doing their job during the ending of this cycle. It's part of the cycle. They don't even know it but they are doing what they are supposed to be doing during this moment in time."
I liked the second one more....
There is a two-volume book series called, "Endgame", by author Derrick Jensen. It is about all of the negative current issues that are plaguing the planet - corporate greed, selfish elites, and blood-thirsty banksters. He talks about how we need to get back to a simpler way of life, not necessarily post-technology, but only using technology that is benign to the planet and all forms of life on the planet. At times, he can be a little 'too activistic' for my tastes, but I love the type of simplistic, wholesome way of living that he describes is the way we are meant to live. I recommend it.

Cleansing of the Earth afterwards?---------Bible Hit!

Ezekiel 39:11-16
And there they will have to bury Gog and all his crowd, and they will be certain to call [it] the Valley of Gog’s Crowd. 12 And those of the house of Israel will have to bury them for the purpose of cleansing the land, for seven months. 13 And all the people of the land will have to do the burying, and it will certainly become for them a matter of fame in the day that I glorify myself,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
14 “‘And there will be men for continual [employment] whom they will divide off, passing along through the land, burying, with those passing through, those left remaining on the surface of the earth, in order to cleanse it. To the end of seven months they will keep making search. 15 And those passing through must pass along through the land, and should one actually see the bone of a man he must also build beside it a marker, until those who do the burying will have buried it in the Valley of Gog’s Crowd. 16 And the name of [the] city will also be Ha·mo´nah. And they will have to cleanse the land.’

Renewal Period?-------------Bible Hit!

Isaiah 65:17-18
“For here I am creating new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart. 18 But exult, YOU people, and be joyful forever in what I am creating.

A simpler way of life?---------- Bible Hit!

Isaiah 65:22-23
They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full. 23 They will not toil for nothing, nor will they bring to birth for disturbance; because they are the offspring made up of the blessed ones of Jehovah, and their descendants with them.

technology that is benign to the planet --------- Bible Hit!

Revelation 11:17-18
But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”

Nope, you are thumping some newer book which speaks to a very similar solution to a problem which has existed for many thousands of years.

Maybe Derrick Jensen read the bible?

Do you believe that someone could possibly not be a Bible reader or religious or spiritual at all, but have desires for a similar way of life? I don't believe that there is a corner on the market for a wholesome life. Can't someone want to do what they consider to be right, without considering the Bible to be more than paper and ink? What about wanting to do right without caring about getting a post-life reward or about avoiding a post-life punishment, just to do it for its own sake? Thanks.
