$200 million went to US Congressmen to vote on the Fast Track authority last year. Boehner got $5 million for ONE Vote. Ryan got a$2.5 million. The fast track passed by 1 vote.

These bastards must have exempted themselves from being guilty of bribery, because all but a very few took money. The monetary “offers”/bribes/contributions coming to vote YES were clearly much higher than the offers to vote NO.

2015 - Jack Abramoff discusses Washington lobbying, corruption, and his quest to help reform politics after his prison sentence for conspiracy to bribe politicians, tax fraud, and more.

The most infamous lobbyist in American history explains what was misrepresented by the media, what changes have already happened in congress, and the reforms that still need to be made at the highest levels of government, in this Lip News interview, hosted by Margaret Howell.

Arguably one of the world’s most famous lobbyists and former Washington power players, Jack Abramoff’s rollercoaster life story might as well be a major motion picture.

In fact, it is.

Already two major motion pictures based on Abramoff’s story have hit the silver screen.

Dubbed on the cover of Time Magazine as the “Man Who Bought Washington”, Abramoff rose to become the nation’s most successful and prominent lobbyist, before becoming enmeshed in the most harrowing political scandal since Watergate.

Having served 43 months in federal prison, Abramoff is out and ready to speak. Few know more than he about how Washington really works.

Abramoff once labeled the dysfunctional and Byzantine system which has become our federal government as the “favor factory”. None can better show why this factory needs to be shuttered, so good government and democracy can prevail.
