The stories of self inflicted death amongst those in the financial and political realms seem to be generating more conspiracy and questions, as to what the dead really knew about the world they worked in and the corruption that seems to be all around it.

The global head of Citigroup's environmental and social risk management was found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday with a laceration to the throat and investigators said late Wednesday it was a suicide.

The body of Shawn D. Miller was discovered in the bathtub of his condo in Manhattan's Financial District and police initially believed a third-party was responsible after finding no weapon.

However, after moving the 42-year-old, police discovered a knife beneath his body in the bathtub, the New York Daily News reports.

Investigators had been trying to find a man with whom Miller was seen walking into...

This week, it would seem bathtub deaths are on the rise, as news reports another strange story of yet another high flying executive who chose a tub to end life in.

The hearing was also told how the note included a request for Mrs Beerbower be buried in Cambridge, where she attended university.

Mrs Beerbower had apparently been offered several ambassadorial roles by President Barack Obama in the weeks before her death and was planning a future with her new fiancé.
