It keeps telling me my login id is invalid.
Many sites are being hacked this week. Makes me wonder who is behind all of it.
I stay away from social networking sites. This forum is as far as I'm willing to go.

Believe your correct, Google YouTube and Facebook come to mind, losing traffic to jsnip4.
This has me on the floor holding my sides...who did it?? Really?? You make a site that looks JUST like Facebook and there's an actual element of surprise here?? If it does come back up, and you were silly enough to actually make a profile on it, I'd leave it, chances are you've been injected with something wonderful.
anyone consider that sometimes websites just take a *****? i cant imagine that fb the company would waste their time hacking it. it's not the first knockoff.

maybe, I haven't looked at it, but the, I don't look at Facebook either, because it looks back. I don't like being looked at, but if you're into the whole connection between government and Facebook, and you believe that people are paid to infiltrate sites and become "trolls" then you have to believe it's possible. Some IT security whiz on Bill Maher the other night stated that they're detecting new cyber threats on a minute to minute basis now. I'm not saying it's conspiracy, I just think it's funny that people would be surprised at something like this happening.

Well see, realistnews and jsnip4 are the warm fuzzy center of the internets.

It's absolutely funny that anybody would think FIRST things like:

"Freespeak is down. It must be a government run hacking operation."

"Facebook is the government and freespeak looks like facebook, therefore the government hacked us."

"We are so powerful that major hacking groups are working to take down our website."

"This is a conspiracy that freespeak is down."

"Jsnip must have really scared TPTB."

I'm sorry but this is just pure comedic paranoia gold going on here.

we are talking about hundreds of dollars vs billions. do you have any idea how big diaspora is? if you don't know, diaspora is the freespeak concept, started 2 years earlier, no banners, opensource, no centralized power structure, no personal information tracking. runs great.

sometimes, websites with complicated database architecture just go down. especially when the site is rather new and based on canned software. databases that talk to other databases sometimes bump uglies and give one another the hivs. before there's tons of traffic, etc, you would need to watch for bugs to develop. so, anyway, it just seems normal to me.

plus, jsnip's nuts are probably pretty tired. give him a break.

Traffic is money be it $1 billion or penny a clicks does not matter to money junkies, poor or rather rich blind fools spend their whole life chasing those dollars, as per G. Celente can't get enough.

THIS. OMG.

I've got 18 years in IT before you start calling me a dimwit and educate me.. oh wait. Nevermind. Wouldn't matter my credentials, this is the internet where everybody who has a theory is more enlightened than somebody else and as such they know more than 4 years education + 18 years job experience gets you.

Sorry I can't helpmyself.

Internet traffic COSTS money. That is a fact working in a data center makes it hard to run from. Honestly, websites run by a company feel no emotion. They don't like nor dislike competition. They don't have an emotion based on where the link to the content exists at either. Advertising time is advertising time. That is what they are paid for, minus the expenses of running multiple data centers, worldwide. Where do I come up with the comedic gold TPTB/Conspiracy stuff? Realistnews! Half of the stuff I read here is like that; off the wall; without merit or evidence; full of logical fallacies; strung together with confirmation bias. If you found that funny.. stick around!

Oh look, a new troll. Look here new troll, we put up with the old ones for a long time before the hammer got dropped. We won't make that mistake again, and before you call people dimwits, you might want a more tentative grasp on the English language. You know, before you get a warning or 'worst'.
