Do you know many people that exchange fiat for gold? I don't. Most people shrug off the idea of getting into precious metals when I mention it. The mainstream media may have you believe that the gold is in a bubble, but if that is true, then they should also be reporting that the stock market getting above 13000 is in a bubble and I never hear reports about that.
Here are some REAL bubbles. The S&P used to mirror Goldman Sachs' stock price and the other major financials. Those days appear to be over. These stocks have taken the place of GS and the financials... they ARE the stock market:

AAPL - Apple

PCLN - Priceline.com

Was a bubble, but it popped:

NFLX - Netflix

Gold is nowhere near a bubble. About 1% of the general public owns gold. When you see the general public falling all over themselves to BUY gold (ie. 1980), that will be the top. Another sign of the top will be when you see ALL the "We Buy Gold" kiosks at the mall close up shop and disappear.
