Whatever it was, this creature did not seem to be a threat. What a shame they killed it. No wonder why you will never see an ET. They will just end up like this one, or in a government lab.

Hiding is the only way to survive, even it has to be in the form of a human.

Looks like an experimental creature created for proposed genetic engineering (joining genes of different species to create a new being). Thomas Horn refers to these a lot in his writings about experiments in genetic manipulations being carried out by unethical rather than mad scientists. Some of those creatures do escape and are unable to survive on their own dying of hunger/thirst or by being beaten to death by some very scared people. It's something along the lines of one such "Montauck Monster". That creature was one also "unidentified" when found at a beach in Montauk, New York in July 2008. To this day no one can rightly say what it was.

Good catch.
A handful of these stories and creatures washed ashore from 2000-09.

It's a Three toed sloth.

Thanks Night Owl. These guys are always posting nonsense. The truth is, as you have provided. Too bad the OP can't find the truth to debunk his insanely, misleading posts. It's out there to be found just like these BS stories.
If it were a three toed sloth, then why wasn't it just proclaimed that by the news. The face of whatever seems to protrude further out than the sloth.

It's the media, telling the truth would be to simple. They wanted to run the story as a mystery piece, helps get ratings and keeps people watching.

A bunch of these sloths washed up hairless and bloated between 00-09. A couple of the stories were hot for a little while on ATS and GL, all of which were debunked to death.

Wildlife officials in Panama did a postmortem on the body and confirmed in was a sloth.

Quote:Panamanian officials recovered the "alien" four days after the teenagers had thrown it back into the creek.

A biopsy done at the National Environmental Authority of Panama (ANAM) concluded that the creature was a male Bradypus variegates, also known as a three-toed sloth, a common species in Central and South America.

"The sloth had severe signs of trauma on its body, as shown in the necropsy," said Melquiades Ramos, a veterinarian at the ANAM Department of Protected Areas and Wild Lives.

"From the state it is shown in the pictures, we can estimate it had been in the water for about two days before being found."

The body's unearthly appearance is the normal state for a putrefying animal immersed in water, said Maia, of the NiterĂ³i Zoo.

That's because water accelerates the loss of fur and gives the dead animal smooth and almost glowing skin, he said.

In addition, bacteria decomposing the body created gases that made the organs swell, adding to the creature's extraordinary appearance.

After identifying the body, ANAM staff buried the sloth.
