Americans crying about $7.25 an hour - what is really wanted for Americans is the same wages as the people of Haiti. Thanks to the Clinton Foundation that controlled what business came into Haiti, the sweatshops are flourishing and the profiteers love the slave system that hasn't ever left the Haitian islands. If corporations could have it their way most of the workers in the world would have the slave wages that the Haitians and many third world counties. Corruption, greed, and slavery is alive and well and the plantations are turning into whole nations!

Will your country be the next to have a geoengineered Tesla weather machine assault and be turned into a sweatshop nation just like Haiti, thanks to the generous donations around the world to the U.N. and Clinton Foundation. Haitians didn't get the money, but they have lots of work at the $12.47 cents a day wages. Follow the money from Haiti and the faces of those who planned and orchestrated the recovery efforts have pockets bulging with cash. What happened to the Clinton/Bush Haiti Fund? They built a five star hotel for the contractors who came to profit and then passed it over to someone else. Where's the money?

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) - Garment workers have taken to the streets of the Haitian capital for the second time in two weeks to demand a minimum wage increase. The workers at factories making T-shirts, pants and other apparel were also demonstrating Monday against the firing of roughly 40 union members at a Port-au-Prince industrial park. Reginald Lanfontant is a union coordinator and one of the fired workers. He asserts the dismissals are "abusive" and demonstrations will continue.

They're demanding 800 Haitian gourdes per eight-hour work day. Based on current exchange rates, that's roughly $12.47 per day. They now earn 300 gourdes, or $4.67. Factories are operational at the park that employs some 18,000 people. Monday's protest had:

GRITtv: 2010 Prediction that is now a "FACT"! Rebuilding Haiti with Sweatshops

Arun Gupta of the Indypendent explains that rebuilding Haiti with sweatshop jobs is no kind of reconstruction. GRITtv with Laura Flanders brings participatory democracy onto your computer screen and into your living room, bridging the gap between audience and advocates.

Fashion Factories Undercover (Documentary) - Real Stories

Beyond the crumbling walls of sweatshops we find out the true cost of fashion. It’s April 23rd 2013, a busy commercial building in Dhaka, Bangladesh towers over thousands of workers, many of them children. As they toil away in a cramped sweatshop the force of the eight-storey building collapses on to them, killing more than a 1,000 people and permanently disfiguring a further 2,500. It emerges that this building had been condemned and not fit for purpose, yet many workers were caged for 14-hours a day with no escape

.This was not just an unfortunate circumstance but one that could easily have been prevented. Through first-hand eyewitness accounts we will investigate the cause of the collapse and reveal how major international brands have ignored the warnings by continuing to use these unsafe buildings and put profit ahead of safety.
