CanadianPMX message regarding Silver
As the webbot predicted, stories of silver shortages popping up all around. I got this message from Canadian PMX, where i usually the silver from :
" There's been quite a lot of buzz in the last few weeks about silver shortages. Articles and rumors started, but no one seemed to panic, so everything is fine, right? Well it seems that the temperature of the industry is changing, very quickly. Industry insiders are now looking closer at these seemingly small stories. They are small stories, until you group them together. -Yesterday the Globe and Mail reported that the Royal Canadian Mint went on allocation, limiting the quantity of sales of the Silver Maple Leaf coin. -HSBC Bank has recently made headlines with a second large purchase of silver bullion from KGHM. HSBC Bank has now, reportedly, bought $1.1 billion in silver bullion in the last 12 months from KGHM. -Earlier this week the U.S. Mint had temporarily run out of Silver Eagle coins -Earlier this week the iShares Silver Trust (NYSEARCA:SLV) had added 18.4 million ounces of silver to its holdings, nearly as much as the 20.8 million ounces added during all of 2012. -An unnamed source reports that the Apple's new iMac delay is due to an industrial silver shortage in China. So are all of these stories inflated by the media to make them 'good news'? Are these pieces to a puzzle that will reveal itself in the coming days, months or years? " Now, let's wait for the next step. Those who follow the IDIR reports will know what that next step is. Be safe everyone. NorthBlade, proud member of Realist News since Dec 2012. |

RE: CanadianPMX message regarding Silver
Jackpot question:
Is there really a shortage, or is it governments/banks colluding to keep silver out of the hands of the public? Something seems fishy to me. All of the sudden there is a shortage? I don't know many people that own silver. Out of all my friends and family, I only know two... me and my best friend that I talked into buying it in 2008. Unlike real estate was during 2003-2006, silver has not been a major topic of lunchroom water cooler discussions. The sheeple still have not a clue. Besides jewlery, only about 1% of the people in the US own physical Ag bullion. "When you see the world die, only then will you understand how real I was" - Charles Manson |

Also, lots of people buying silver, that can be seen by the amount of bullions being sold. That to me is at least, not a surprised, but a most expected event. You simply have to look at the math, numbers to realize it. NorthBlade, proud member of Realist News since Dec 2012. |

I'm sorry, but I just don't see the average Joe-Blow buying, or even talking about silver. The mass sheeple is still absolutely clueless about it. I read all the articles and see the same numbers as everyone does. This so-called silver shortage does not make sense to me. If there was a true shortage, the price would be skyrocketing... it's not. No matter you counter it, the sheeple masses are NOT buying silver. My main point is this so-called Ag shortage is being precipitated by someone other than Ag buyers. If you want to believe in the fairytales that countless silver websites scream about on a daily basis, than be my guest. They all have agendas and vested interests. I understood your point, but it does not counter anything. The sheeple buying or not does not change anything. As you said, it is my opinion to believe selected articles or not. Like everyone else i guess.

I've been buying Ag since 1985. 70-80% of my entire personal wealth is invested in PM's, with more weighted towards Ag. Just remember, there is good/true info out there and bad/slanted info. I always do well when I think critically, ask appropriate questions and not to let my emotions get the best of me when investing.
